Raven Music Boosters Sponsor Golf Tournament

The Sussex Tech Ravens Music Boosters are sponsoring a golf tournament at Shamrock Farms Par 3, located on Saw Mill Road in Milton, on Saturday, April 21 (rain date, April 28).
Students, parents, staff, and friends of Sussex Technical High School are invited to put a four-person team together for a day of fun on the greens. The scramble format play costs $25 for adults and $15 for students. The price includes a round of golf, lunch, and prizes. Pre-registration is required. Sign-in on the day of play is 11 a.m. and tee-off will be 11:30 a.m.
Hole sponsorship is being sought. Your name or business name will be put on an 8.5 x 11 laminated sign and placed on a hole that will remain on the course throughout the week. Cost per hole is $30.
Gift certificates are also needed as prizes. This would be great advertising for a business. One of the prizes will be awarded for closest to the pin. To donate call Virginia Smith at 684-5656.

Sussex Tech Names New Golf Coach

Sussex Tech is pleased to announce that Cline Scrivner is the school’s new golf coach. Cline’s golf career spans over 25 years in the business, including being a PGA member for 20 years. He has been a coach at both the high school and college levels for over eight years. Cline has also served as golf professional at courses in the Arizona and Florida areas. He currently resides in Millsboro with his wife, Laura.
Cline replaces Frank Makray who has assumed additional responsibilities at the school. Cline is committed to carrying on the strong Raven program Makray developed over the past few years.
