Sussex Tech Adult Division and the Woodbridge School District has partnered to provide After School Programs at the Phillis Wheatley Elementary School and the Woodbridge Middle School. Primarily Hispanic and teacher-referred students stay after school every Tuesday and Thursday. After getting help with homework, the students participate in a club of their choice. Nearly one hundred students and family members came to the PWES Saturday, November 15. The families enjoyed healthy snacks, made delicious smoothies, played board games, made origami projects, played games on the iPads, and played soccer.

Funding for this 21st Century Community Learning Center program is provided by the US Department of Education and administered by the Delaware Department of Education and the Arsht Cannon Fund at the Delaware Community Foundation.

For more information on this program, contact the Sussex Tech Adult Division at 302-856-9035.
