In-School Credit Program Helps Students Graduate

School-Credits

The In-School Credit program, which is offered through the James H. Groves High School, will begin its second semester on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. The program provides an opportunity for all Sussex County high school students 16 and over to earn a credit to help keep them on track to graduate on time with their class. Classes are self-paced and meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. Students may ride the activity bus home.

In order to be eligible to participate, students must be at least 16 years of age at the time of enrollment, be approved by their guidance counselor, and pass a pre-test or have a DCAS score of at least 3 in the subject in which they need to take a class. There is no fee to enroll.

If you would like more information or would like to sign up for the orientation that will be held after school on Jan. 30th, please contact your guidance counselor or Mrs. Kelly Whaley at 853-1588.
