Blackboard Connect Helps Sussex Tech Provide Faster, More Targeted Information to Parents
Parents are urged to verify and add current contact information with the new Connect Access Parent Portal in order to stay informed of important messages.
Sussex Technical School District has updated its Blackboard Connect™ service to provide enhanced communications options to parents and enable the District to reach parents more quickly and effectively, which will help to keep them better informed.
As the District’s longstanding, trusted notification platform, Blackboard Connect enables District Administration to quickly deliver critical messages, including emergency alerts and important school announcements, via phone, text, and email. Sussex Technical School District encourages parents to verify and register their contact information in the system’s new secure Connect Access Parent Portal, where they can also manage their message settings, including their mode of contact and specific message types they wish to receive.
Sussex Technical School District uses Blackboard Connect to notify parents of urgent and routine communications, such as emergency weather delays/closures, attendance/tardy notifications, and information about upcoming events, due dates, etc.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to explore the new Connect Access Parent Portal and make sure the District has the most up-to-date contact information by visiting the Sussex Technical High School website and clicking on the BLACKBOARD CONNECT button.
