2017-2018 Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment Course Information

For those students who have signed up for either AP or Dual Enrollment courses next year, please be aware of the following course-specific information:

AP US History – Summer work is required, and it is posted on Blackboard under AP US History “Summer work.” There will be a meeting for all students May 18th at 8:50 in the cafeteria.

AP Psychology – Summer Work is required, and it is posted in Blackboard. There will be a meeting for all students May 22nd at 1:45 in Ms. Swan’s room (846)

AP Statistics – Summer work is required, and it is posted in Blackboard. Students should stop by Ms. Williams’ room (422) to retrieve information/summer packet.

AP Language and Composition – No Summer Work is required. See Mr. Forcucci (room 317) with any questions.

AP Literature and Composition – Summer work is required. There will be a meeting for all students in the cafeteria May 31st at 9:00am. See Mr. Varrato in room 421 with any questions.

AP Calculus – Summer work is required, and it is posted on Blackboard. Mr. Heuring will personally visit each pre-calc class to share information with AP Calculus students.

AP Spanish – Summer work is required. Some work will be completed via BlackBoard in the course entitled AP Spanish. Other assignments and assessments will be completed during the 2 required summer meetings: June 27th and July 12. Both meetings will be held in the library from 9:00-10:30 am. There will be an informational meeting in Mrs. Stewart’s room (849) on Tuesday May 16th at 8:45.

Widener English 101 – Summer work is required. There will be an information meeting in Mrs. Forcucci’s room (837) on May 30th at 9:00am.

Widener Intro to Teaching and Intro to Teaching and Ed. Technology – No summer work is required. See Mrs. Furbush (room 235) with any questions.

Widener Language Development in Early Childhood – No summer work is required. See Dr. Esham in the library with any questions.

Widener Astronomy – No summer work is required. See Mr. Aiken (room 303) with any questions.
