Sussex Tech students, faculty and staff are building awareness of the fight against breast┬ácancer by going pink for October. The Jefferson Awards Students in Action team is dedicating each month as a “Color for a Cause,” highlighting a social or health issue and encouraging the Tech community to wear that cause’s color, along with carrying out community service and outreach projects. Students are encouraged to wear pink or a pink ribbon every Friday throughout October, and Tech’s school climate officer team recently got into the spirit with custom shirts. Earlier in the month, the Ravens volleyball team held a “Dig Pink” fundraising game with Delmarva Christian High School.
